Error 9.2 commerce installation

Getting error at task 176 of 201 in commerce installation:

Tried some solutions by googling this error to no avail

  • Try to open "https://commerceshops.sc9.com" in your browser and see what happens. Share the screenshot if there is any run time error

    Here is the error I get when I access the commershops url 

     

     

    An error occurred while starting the application.

    Verify Global.json has valid JSON content. You can find above file at this location:

    \path-to-commerce-webroot\CommerceShops_sc9\wwwroot\bootstrap\Global.json

    Copy this file content and validate it's content by some online json validator tool. e.g. : https://jsonlint.com/

    You will probably need to add some escape characters to make it valid.

     

    If this fixes your issue for CommerceShops application, then do the same for other commerce apps too
